November 24, 2012 - More cedar and tobacco this time around. Fruit starting to fade a bit. Still rounded with good tannins, but would drink soon.

March 7, 2012 - Not much nose, opaque in the glass. Taste is full and well rounded. Developed some heat with the first taste
and followed through to finish. Nice tannins creating a medium dry finish. I did allow this to warm slightly from
the cellar (58) and open in the glass for an hour. The following day was just as nice.

July 29, 2011 - Really needs some time to open up, 30 minutes in the glass. The wine is very food friendly, wich an incredible dark, deep purple.

November 27, 2010 - Rich purple, full flavored, almost inky. Opened up nicely after about 30 minutes. Medium finish. Good food-pairing wine.

February 7, 2010 - The first thing you notice about this is the deep, dark opaque purpleness...then there is a farm after the rain smell with hints of mulled wine. This is all good. Exhibits all the good Central Coast Syrah traits, dark berries, pepper and other spices, and subtle and smooth tannins. This one is peaking now and should probably be drunk in the next year or two at the most.
