August 26, 2017 - From magnum, slow ox'ed for a couple of hours and then decanted an hour before service. The cork showed some leakage. Dark red in color still after 25 years. The nose is raspberries and lead pencil. Flavors of dark fruits, cedar, still some tannins and a bit too much acid that is likely from the cork leaking. Still a very nice wine that is still very drinkable, and with a perfect cork would likely last many more years.

November 25, 2015 - wonderful full bouquet, pepper, black cherry, vanilla...big all around. Wonderful finish. GREAT QPR!
