November 23, 2016 - Black coffee, dark acid, tacky tannins. Date, a bit of baking spices, fine juicy tannins. Soft and round for a Cab Franc. A bit of black pepper, earth. Good. Not falling off any time soon.

November 14, 2011 - Tiring, some VA and harsh acidity coming up. Drink up.

November 6, 2011 - Starting to come down, still enjoyable, but drying finish.

April 21, 2011 - I agree with valecnik's note below, I would have mistaken this for a Pinot Noir. There was some simple red fruit and some dark earth and it was fairly light bodied yet it was flabby and lacking interest with an astringent finish. It drank much like a very basic Bourgogne from a poor year. Tasted immediately upon opening, with an hour's decant, and the following day. I'll stick to Chinon from now on I think.

March 4, 2011 - Still going nice and smooth.
