September 7, 2018 - Second review of this wonderful CDP for me and stand by my previous observations. The cork was in perfect shape even after 29 years. Fully resolved and sweet tannin, lovely earth and woody scent, raspberry is very prominent after 15 seconds finish versus prior cherry notes. It was, just lovely with chocolate from New Zealand.

September 7, 2017 - Still a big bold wine with some tannins still needing to smooth out but the fruit is there. Leather, spice and tobacco on the nose and decent dark fruit plus some tart black cherry notes and a 15 second finish . I read some of the prior reviews on this site and I am surprised several said it was on its last legs. I beg to differ! This wine is a blockbuster and has a lot of life left if it has been stored properly.

March 18, 2016 - Wonderful nose of red and dark fruits, secondary nuances, leather and tobacco, mild sweet tannins, medium to full bodied, long finish. Very nice wine, indeed.

December 6, 2015 - Consistent with my previous note. Still drinking very nicely. Two hours of decant was about right.

September 25, 2014 - Garnet/ruby red, cherry nose and rich cherry flavor with some earthiness, soft tannins, probably a little past its peak, but very nice.
