This is incredibly sweet and fresh still at 12 years.

November 12, 2015 - rating for a Bourgogne...
Starts off with a little pine sap on the nose. Needed about a half hour to loosen up, then dark berries, violets, slightly drying tannins and a tartness keeping the finish very fresh. Drinking very young.. nothing but upside here. -

October 5, 2014 - Very surprised at how good this was. A bit soft with great aged-mellowed character, wet fragrant forest floor with soft blackberry-cherry note. With poulet a la moutarde and a fantastic match. At its peak now.
