May 14, 2016 - [750; bought by host at auction in Boston; pop and pour; perfect fill]. Ruby color without any fading to rim or brown color. Delicious red pinote fruit in nose and on palate, medium palate impression and good length. Very MSD fruit, and typical Arlaud attractiveness. A winner. No unresolved tannins or intrusive oak. Does not have the stuffing of the 2005 nor the next-level complexity of a grand cru .... but who cares? Delicious and ready to drink now. Will hold for at least another 3-5 years, no reason not to enjoy though.
May 14, 2014 - PNP. Color garnet w bricking. This was surprisingly mature. Secondary flavors emerging from fruit and great balance with structure. Delicious now. Can't imagine much upside to waiting. If I had more I would drink it
January 17, 2013 - Love this wine. Elegant and representative of a fine burgundy wine; soft mineral on nose and delicious raspberry on palate. Long finish. Drinks well now but should have many years left.

Aroma: Raspberries, spices and ripe fruits
Medium bodied and concentrated. Smooth nice palate that reflects the nose

August 10, 2011 - Ny flaske prøvd ved en feiltagelse..!
Klar mursteinsrød med lys orange kant. Gjennomtrengende bondegård på duft. Fin syrlig rød bærfrukt på smak. God syre og lette tanniner. Helt over på decanter og satt vekk i 2,5 timer.
Nå har den åpnet seg mere på duft. Frem kommer vanilje og rød bærfrukt. Bondegård/høstløvet er der fortsatt men det er tonet endel ned. Smaken følger duften. Den har bra konsentrasjon, fin syre med merkbare tanniner og en veldig sjarmerende mineralpreg. Lang. Dette er en vin som har flere år foran seg fordi frukten virker holdbar og solid. Blir spennende å følge videre.
June 23, 2011 - Klar ruby med svak begynnende orange kant. Velhengt kjøtt og kompost på duft. Kamuflert rødbærfrukt på smak. God syre og integrerte tanniner. Forholdsvis lang. Etter en time i karaffel klarner både duften og smaken, og blir renere. Legg vekk noen år.
August 29, 2010 - I forgot to write down the vintage but I'm pretty sure it was '06. Odd wine. Meaty as hell and smells like adobo chiles. A big wine but soft. Meaty fruits on the palate. This is just not varietally correct. ***
December 12, 2009 - Interesting note of orange peel on the nose. Vanilla and cherry. Almost a Creamsicle aspect.
Fuller bodied than the Dujac. This has richer, darker fruit. Black cherries and baking spices. Get the oak influence on the firmer tannins, but they are so well balanced with the acidity. Incredibly long finish.
Much more complex in both nose and palate. My WOTN.
