January 30, 2015 - Good quality, long stubborn cork. Quite a lot of bubbles, clean, light sunflower seed oil colour. Composed classy nose of crunchy winter apples, appricot and peach, no yeasty aromas or brioche, it's mostly about interplay of fruits. Mildly creamy, lovely and somewhat complex. On the palate it has the stonefruits, some very balanced sweetness as the accidity has integrated. Very good as a long drink.
September 28, 2013 - Stuborn cork, lighter colour than i was expecting, quite pale. Very fine bubbles which have almost disappeared. The nose is light but has an aged yeasty but fresh complexity. Pallete is incredibly light starts off complex but quickly drops away, certainly past its prime but still an interesting drop. Had with smoked salmon, good aperitif.
August 22, 2013 - Nearing end of life. Very soft, fairly weak bubbles, and showing a bit of oxidation. Still a fine drink, but you'll want to drink up if you've got any left.
June 5, 2010 - @ Ehrenreich's dinner party. Excellent precis. I like the style.
November 26, 2009 - :-( Who drank it?
November 23, 2009 - fine mousse, toasty, delicate acidity, nice balance. Drink up soon
June 17, 2009 - Bubbles and concentration of aromas were still very good, but a strange indescribable aftertaste was present. The wine was nearing the end of its peak and descending in wasted wine. Drink up if you have any in your cellar.
January 17, 2009 - Lots of yeast. Apples and citron somehow. Splendid wine. Everything I've read is that's it's at its prime 2006-2008. This has a couple of years yet...
October 12, 2008 - Wonderful champagne! Rich and elegant taste with plenty of green apples.
December 31, 2007 - Pale gold; burnt sugar/baked apple on top of the yeasty/bready notes; good rich mousse; seamless joins between the nose, palate and finish.
