November 28, 2021 - This one was still alive showing nice acidity and tertiary characteristics
March 29, 2018 - Med gold. Mint, oak, reduction. Med acidity med+ weight slightly toasty yellow fruit coconut starting to mature.
February 8, 2017 - Quite a light colour (light straw) and restrained on the nose given origin and age: citrus and round peach against a background of minerality. Felt like a Sonoma coast wine and younger than 10yrs. Has time to go, but drinking well now albeit without great complexity. ***
December 31, 2012 - Nice floral entry disappearing to a clean fresh mid-palate finshing with a hint of butter.
Very reminiscent of fine white burgundy. Beautiful wine.
July 18, 2010 - Beautiful straw color. The nose is butter, the first cut of a pineapple, minerals and sweetness. The wine is medium bodied, good acidity. The fruit is showing well now. The oak is light which we prefer. I would guess the wine is now at peak.
October 3, 2009 - Had this a year ago and I was also disappointed given price, but I thought it might be closed down. Am I glad to be right about that. This wine is showing well now. Great balance of oak, pineapple, butter, but not over the top like your typical Cali chard. I would mark this up a point or two, but it is not quite there yet. If you can lay it down for another year, you will not be disappointed.
September 15, 2009 - Butter and tropical fruit on the nose. But wow this is delicious wine. Tropical fruit, not over the top, bright acidity and a long creamy finish. Loved it.
August 14, 2009 - I agree with the comments - medium body, nice acidity. loved it.
July 27, 2009 - Pineapple and oak nose. Medium to full body with nice acidity. A little bit oak finish.
May 27, 2009 - Oak barrel nose that didn't integrate until the next am in the glass, but my wife didn't feel the oak was a problem. I just couldn't enjoy the fruit flavors at all. Too expensive for what it was.
