November 27, 2009 - Simply delicious, lots of smoke, caramel, definite liquor quality, obvious fig and raisin. Long finish, to much wine on board to really score, but 93-94ish.

April 20, 2008 - Mmmm. Paid 16.5 euros at a Barcelona wine shop. Not sure if I'd describe it as syrup or gravy (probably somewhere in the middle), but the Don PX was a dark brown, motor oil color that coated the glass. Strong prunes and raisins, as to be expected, mixed with dark brown sugar. I struggle even calling this wine, as it really strikes me as a fantastic liqueur. I believe this is the equivalent of the Grand Reserva, but not labeled as such because it was not exported. At this price point, I could become addicted to this very easily.
