April 5, 2019 - Great nose of mushrooms and chocolatey notes. Still some tannins but really looking forward to see where this is going. Think those mushroom notes will be profound in another few years.

August 17, 2014 - Funkiness on the nose. Tannic. Really mellowed out when aerated.

July 14, 2013 - The price does not match the quality of this wine. Good, but not great considering it is $40 in Canada.

July 11, 2013 - Nice, but not nearly as nice as the '05 Bila Haut I had the previous night. A little thin, metallic and sour, but some nice tannins on the backside and subtle fruit. Feels like this is going downhill.

March 15, 2010 - Ruby/garnet in color. Musty earthy nose with a bit of fruit sneaking through. Tart, tannic front palate giving way to a fairly soft rounded mid palate of red fruit. Moderate finish. A bit off the beaten path (in a good way).

May 20, 2009 - Wierd little funk on the nose. No brett. Palate is likewise funky. but muted the fruit somewhat. Opened with air but never fully "took off" but it was nice and I'd buy it again.

December 22, 2008 - This wine is an excellent example of a Gigondas. Dark and thick looking in the glass. Mushroom and earth come through on the nose. It has an incredible rustic loamy taste that is a nice change of pace from so many other Rhone wines. Paired well with soy mustard marinated flank steak and home made fries. This wine should last quite a while.

March 29, 2008 - Notes are from night before.....tight nose not much there. Body was surprisingly thin and tannins a bit harsh. Enjoyable, but a bit surprising. However, it's my first from the region.
