June 20, 2020 - Finally getting around to this '04–06 vertical I picked up a while back. Thought I might've waited too long but this is still drinking ok. Dense coloring with garnet edges. Aromas of cassis, blackberry, plum, anise, liquorice, graphite, earth, violet, and dusty cedar. I like that. Light to medium body, medium (+) acid, medium finish, and flavors of similar dark fruits and graphite minerality, with a little lemon and black tea. Nice with a steak tonight.
