January 20, 2024 - Kellerkühl. 2,5 zuvor karaffiert. Einwandfreier Korken, kaum gefärbt
    Sattes Rot.Bdx-Nase, nicht ausgeprägt
    angereift, noch ordentlich Säure.
    Satte Früchte.
Macht Spaß, Tendenz zum großen Wein…

October 23, 2023 - Garnet. Nose shy, bordering on water. Taste mild, smooth, subtle. Just missing a bit.

October 21, 2022 - Agree with other recent notes. Nicely mature and ready to drink. Good structure with mature palate and medium long finish. Pair with richer dishes.

September 20, 2022 - The nose here is lovely and classic - all of the expected Pessac flavors are on show in the bricky, scorched earth, autumn leaf, allspice-filled nose. Nutty, hickory smoke finish. Perhaps not quite enough fruit depth to bump it to the next level, but complete, classic Pessac. 93-94

(Chateau Latour Martilliac Rouge) COLOR-dark; NOSE-very smokey BBQ action; sour cherry; hint of herbaceous green component (brussel sprout/broccoli); TASTE-huge attack; great green & black olives on the mid-palate; very dry on the back-end; interesting blend of red & black fruit; a big plum component on the intense and dry finish; great structure; GV-no rating

(Latour-Martillac) Phenomenal. Classic nose of scorched earth, tweed, slight cassis, lead pencil, boysenberry and minerals. Rich and impressively sweet for this wine with blueberry fruit, cherry wafting across the palate. Finishes with a sweet fruit/mineral note that lingers. Tannins are silky and not obtrusive at all. This is a beautiful wine.
