October 21, 2022 - Agree with other recent notes. Nicely mature and ready to drink. Good structure with mature palate and medium long finish. Pair with richer dishes.

September 20, 2022 - The nose here is lovely and classic - all of the expected Pessac flavors are on show in the bricky, scorched earth, autumn leaf, allspice-filled nose. Nutty, hickory smoke finish. Perhaps not quite enough fruit depth to bump it to the next level, but complete, classic Pessac. 93-94

6/21/2003 (link)(Latour-Martillac) Phenomenal. Classic nose of scorched earth, tweed, slight cassis, lead pencil, boysenberry and minerals. Rich and impressively sweet for this wine with blueberry fruit, cherry wafting across the palate. Finishes with a sweet fruit/mineral note that lingers. Tannins are silky and not obtrusive at all. This is a beautiful wine.
