October 1, 2017 - Nose is wet earth, tobacco, mushrooms and dried fruit. Nice long finish. Very enjoyable.

January 30, 2008 - Medium ruby red without signs of bricking indicating another 5+ years of life ahead of it. Softer than most Barolos but with all the usual flavor profiles typical of aged nebbiolo. Very pleasing and a good accompinament to Maggie's quattro formagi baked macaroni (pecorino, fontina, gorgonzola and parmegiano).
