July 28, 2015 - It seems to me that when Paso wines get past prime they get jammy and fat. Such is the case here

    September 13, 2012 - No decant.

August 17, 2012 - Color: medium ruby -> medium ruby rim with slight bricking. Nose of plums; briary. Almost Zin-like -- after two hours open started to develop a little tar. Palate was bursting with red fruits, plums, a bit jammy and almost over the top. Nice texture and length with good acidity; finishes with some alcohol coming through. Although I like it (as I've liked most vintages of Mas De Maha), I don't think this is easily recognizable as (primarily) Tempranillo. (60% Tempranillo, 20% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre)

September 20, 2011 - Unscrewed and poured. A bit restrained on the nose initially but in a few minutes brought forth noce red fruit and some spiciness. Smooth on the palate with a good finish. Very tasty.
