Description: Deep ruby in colour with a medium+ intense nose.
Positives: I find that Souverain Winery produces excellent wines and this one doesn’t disappoint me. This Cab features spruce, smoked oak, boysenberry, blueberry, cloves, cinnamon, turmeric, graphite, leather and arugula. Medium+ body and tannins with good acidity and a fairly long length.
Negatives: None
Drink now or over the next 3 years on its own or pair with T-bone steak.

January 7, 2013 - clear ruby in the glass. pleasant nose with jammy dark fruit, currant and oak. good acidity with ample black cherry, leather with smokey oak notes. still a little harsh on the mid palate with gripping tannins. good but not great. can hold 1-2 more years.
