September 19, 2020 - This is an exceptional and favorite source for Petit Syrah. Ages wonderfully, great fruit, solid tannin structure. Likely good for another 10 years... but I like it at this stage!

June 4, 2020 - 14 yr old petite sirah. As expected, it has left its “dumb phase” that sometimes plagues PS at 5-10 yr, and is now a soft pleasant PS. Dark fruit nose. Inky in color. Still has tannins on sides of tongue despite that softness otherwise. Great with grilled NY strip with truffle butter glaze

May 17, 2016 - Not a complicated wine, but delicious. Drinking as well as it is going to.

December 20, 2015 - This wine is dark as Inc. It is also slightly opaque and just barely translucent. Strangely the flavor profile is very red like pomegranate at the beginning but quickly darkens up with heavy fruit, chewy tannins, grape seeds, and some coffee. I find the acidity stark and pushed forward throughout even in the finish.

Not sure age will help this wine. Drink up.

September 29, 2014 - Smells of leather, red currants, mildew, & heat. Tastes of balanced jammy deep red fruits & blackberries. Medium-full bodied
