February 20, 2015 - Nice evolution of the same bottle.
Aromas of bitter almonds, sour butter and burnt caramel.
Long on the palate, tasty and trustable Palo Cortado.
Paired with deep fried olives meat stuffed at La Piperna in Madrid.

Una buena evolución de una misma botella.
Aromas a almendras amargas, mantequilla pasada y caramelo quemado.
Laga en boca, un Palo Cortado sabroso para confiar en el.
Acompañando unas aceitunas fritas rellenas de carne de La Piperna en Madrid.

January 21, 2015 - Finally Sanchez Romate has produced its own low quality Palo Cortado.
I am not going to leave my love to this winery.
The wine is fine with a lovely sour butter note.
    Palo Cortado snobs are happy.

Finalmente Sánchez Romate ha producido su propio Palo Cortado de baja calidad. No voy a dejar de amar a esta bodega, que conste.
Este vino es fenomenal con una nota rica a nantequilla agria.
Los frikis del PC están felices

June 10, 2014 - Spirit nose. Not much else on palate. Score is maybe too kind.

July 19, 2013 - The historic winery Hermanos Sánchez Romate make this “palo cortado”. On the nose it´s feels like an amontillado, and on the palate it´s like an oloroso, so you can consider this kind of wine like a little miracle.

Palo Cortado Regente is amber, and its rim is iodinated-like. Its darkness shows its aging (more than 15 years).

On the nose it shows nuts, old wood, varnish and hints of saline and roasted notes. It also shows citric notes (orange peel).

On the palate it´s strong but it´s balanced and elegant.

February 23, 2013 - Clear, medium amber colour with presence of legs. Clean, medium+ intensity developing nose, oxidative aromas of hazelnuts, coffee, chocolate, iode, dried peaches and hints of varnish. Dry in the mouth, medium refreshing acidity, low oak tannins, high warm alcohol, medium body, pronounced intensity flavours of hazelnuts, varnish, chocolate, coffee, iode and dried peaches. Medium+ finish. Complex and balanced, very good quality. Can drink now, but has potential for further ageing.

October 22, 2012 - Warm and expansive, similar in style and attack to the NPU but with the more orange-centric profile of a pc.
