  October 5, 2023 - Consistent with my previous note, but here thrilled when served in zalto universal glasses (and time to open) with seared fois gras and various over-rich 3* plates. Just the right level of sweetness so as not to overpower and fantastic acidity for pork rind and the like. A brilliant gastronomical rendition, and highly recommended. 95pts, drink to 2030 (as not huge fruit levels)

  August 29, 2023 - Excellent! From half bottle. Not as sweet as expected. Apple, dried apricot, petrol, lychee on the nose but more apple and lime in the mouth. Not too broad and very precise with gorgeous oily mouthfeel. Worked perfectly with fish course as lighter and very steely for this bottling. Drink with food, no hurry but nowhere near as deep as 2005 (which is 3 steps up). Drink to 2035. 94pts

  September 23, 2021 - Sjaak's 40th birthday dinner (Groot-Ammers, Netherlands): A very unusual Spätlese for this sweet and ripe vintage, bursting with zesty acidity, almost feinherb in character (it definitely has bitters), very intense, peach and lime, fresh mint, long finish. Consistent with my tasting note from 2013, but continues to be a bit of a puzzle.

  June 18, 2021 - Utviklet nese med et godt modent fruktbilde. Pakistansk mango, gule blomster, honning. Tydelig botrytis - typisk for årgangen. Tykk og viskøs i munn. Helt rå fruktkonsentrasjon. Moderate mengder av både syre og sødme - god balanse. Lang finish. Er nok på topp nå.

  December 22, 2016 - A rather underwhelming wine, probably due to unreasonable expectations. Delicious on the nose with petro-chem, apples, a touch of honey, whipped cream and citrus fruit. High acidity, off dry and witha medium body. Unfortunately it lacks somewhat in intensity and the finish seem a bit short and with a bitter twist at the end. Was slightly better on day two, but for almost 70€ this should have delivered far better.
