August 12, 2016 - old style barolo seemingly still young. Vivid tannins and astringent mouth. Notes of earth, wet leaves, licorice. Long life ahead.

October 6, 2007 - Ruby color with slight ambering at the edges. Piquant nose rewards aeration in the glass, higher toned and forward. Bright cherries and darker tones in the mouth-tannins are present but sweet and moderate. A nice glass of wine. Ready now but can wait as well.

February 27, 2007 - Rolha um pouco vazada e completamente encharcada. Fiz bem em abrir.Ruby escuro com pouquíssimos sinais de cansaço. Nariz marcado por tostado, alcaçuz e cereja, abrindo com o tempo para chá preto. Na boca bom corpo, ótima fruta, taninos finos e numerosos alem de excelente acidez. Final muito longo e agradável .Excelente.

July 13, 2006 - Barolo (Due Cuochi Cucina): De um modo geral, fiquei com a impressão que não agradou muito, mas particularmente gostei bastante. Impressiona a concentração de fruta, o corpo robusto e os taninos muito finos mas marcantes. Final muitíssimo longo. Deve evoluir bem; se tivesse outra garrafa, esperaria por mais 4 anos pelo menos. Excelente.
