July 5, 2020 - Unmistakable Syrah on the nose and palate after fist sip plum and fig but with fruit starting to fade making way for soft tannins and oak well integrated with hits of cedar wood and cigar box with layer upon layer of interesting sensations lingering during a wonderful long finish...during at muturity now but still with plenty of life ahead....excepional experience!!!!!

April 9, 2020 - Dark ruby colour. Red fruit, forest berries, herbs/garrigue, coffee, spices, liquorice, glycerin and mineral notes, with fine, sandpapery tannin, supporting acidity, and very good length. Very herbal and mineral. Quite ripe and slightly raisiny, but well balanced. Best on day two, Good value.

March 29, 2015 - Used one and half bottles as a base for cooking Ina Garten's beef short rib recipe-- rocked! Dark purple/brown hue, dark berry nose, smooth nicely balanced wine. Medium finish. In my judgment, time to drink this wine. Easy to drink.

March 24, 2015 - Sur les olives et le lard. Un peu trop fondu a mon goût. Manque de fruit.

February 15, 2015 - Very nice. A little riper than I like but nice nonetheless. Red berry fruit, hints of licorice, some gravelly mineral flavors, and a little garrigue. Smooth and well balanced. In a good place.
