April 14, 2024 - Once again picked this off the list at Willi’s Wine Bar, Paris.
Definitely a worm to decant and a good hour will do nothing but wonders . That been said the wine is open and ready for business from the word go. Very classic , but animal or hedonistic as we sometimes hear .. soft smoky light earthy and very well polished wine. Lots of life ahead here but very pretty now too. 93 for now

March 25, 2024 - Decanting advisable or at least give this some time to open up.
Not that is buttoned down or closed just needs a bit of old-school love to get into its proper place. Soft smoky, rich dark fruit, light earth , round and well polished, good weight of fruit and very elegant. Touch savory wine too and really pretty wine. A lot of time ahead here but also well worth opening a few at this stage :)

December 26, 2023 - Smoky cherry and violets nose, a hint of olives. Rich silky palate, more cherries, long and delicious. Certainly wide open, excellent with prime rib.

December 15, 2023 - Bought on release and first of the case. Fantastic mature and fully integrated côte rotie: animal, chimney. Super soft and velvety. Not a beast, actually quite feminine. Clearly at its plateau and will stay there for a while so no rush for the other bottles. Extremely enjoyable!

December 3, 2023 - From Magnum, a very nice Northern Rhône, with even some red fruit, spices, not a powerhouse, but with nice complexity. Good density and length.
