January 29, 2012 - Very balanced and well crafted wine that is drinking perfectly now. Blackberry, black pepper, anise, and vanilla with velvety tannins. Drink soon if you're holding.

January 28, 2010 - A deep-flavored Zin with notes of plums and leather. Very smooth finish. Drink before it ages too much.

November 13, 2009 - Very baked black berry zinny Zin! However does taste like wine as opposed to just jammy black fruit/candied fruit as found in many Zins. I did notice the high alcohol (as confirmed after by looking at the label). Good 'legs'. rounded, soft and just the righ amount of 'sweetness' for a nice Zin. With regard to my laypersons pallet this is certinly a good Zin and a pleasant fruity full bodied wine but I felt it had no outstanding nuances or interest to class it as a 'special' or 'reccommended' Zin or a wine I would seek out again. (I prefer/look for something a little more 'interesting' in a good Zin. 84 may appear low but I am going by the cellar tracker guideline of 'Good'...as opposed to 85+ very good...).

July 11, 2009 - Spicy, hot, bold, in your face Zinfandel. Not for the weak at heart. This wine is sooo much fun. Easy to drink and enough complexity to keep you coming back for more. This wine rocks!

July 9, 2008 - Woody/flowery nose. Tasting reveals a huge avalanche of cherry jam flavor, then some wood & a little acidity on the finish. Ready to go.

March 29, 2008 - Toasty American oak on the nose. Quite richly fruited and somewhat sweet. Pretty much a fruit grenade.
