October 3, 2021 - Deep dark colour, dense.
Dark fruits, dark spice, some blood, graphite & soy richness.
Powerful but smooth, intense ripe dark berry and plums, well integrated oak spice, licorice and tar, scorched earth. The earthy developed notes add complexity but the fruit and spice intensity dominate. Lush, but with a silky elegance, classic Tyrell’s style, albeit this one is on the heavier end of the spectrum. Absolutely delicious, and with years ahead. Very sad this is my only bottle. -

February 5, 2008 - Earthy, with some raspberry notes as well. Bright, red fruited palate with some earthiness coming through in the background. Tannins are bold, but should settle with time.
