April 25, 2020 - Liked this bottle. Maybe get more
May 30, 2017 - Nice older cab with dark fruit and earth
January 8, 2017 - Quite smooth and crowd pleasing! in a great spot right now!
November 29, 2016 - Light-bodied. Slight off-aroma on opening, but it seemed to dissipate quickly. Still pleasant wine, but not a long-lasting one. Some fruit, but not by any means overpowering.
December 27, 2015 - Still good. Has lost just a little but still a great drinker
November 8, 2015 - This particular bottle is vegetal, smelling and tasting a bit "green." So my rating is significantly lower than previous bottles. I'm hoping this is only bottle-variation, rather than the vintage being over-the-hill. I will open another soon, to see.
November 8, 2015 - Wow. Deep and brooding, opens occasionally to show a blast of strawberry and hits of dark cherry. Long, long finish.
September 27, 2015 - Delicious. Considering that this is 10 years old, Waterstone is not to our eye a high-end winery, but this with age on it was delicious. It tasted full bodied and tannins had smoothed out nicely. We think this wine has aged very well, and may try cellaring some recent ones that friends gave us.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. The cork fell apart, so we decanted this wine. Not really much sediment considering the depth of the wine.
December 10, 2014 - Yummy, jammy, luscious, ripe, filled with spicy bouquets of fall flowers and cornucopias of dark berries. Better with every bottle.
October 19, 2014 - Cassis, currant, blackberries, and chocolate, embedded in luxuriant waves of Napa loveliness. Phenomenal value. At the peak of its performance on day two after opening, so I judge there are still four years remaining of fine experience for this wine. Bravo!
