Perfect cork, no trace of seepage.
Delicious and concentrated red berry flavours
Plush texture and long finish.
Drink in near term for its impeccable primary fruit balance.

May 19, 2014 - Excellent vin présentant des arômes de fruits rouges, de cannelle, de notes poivrées. Le vin ne présente pas d'intérêt à vieillir.

March 19, 2011 - Medium to deep ruby. Starts with bright red fruit and earth and goes on to develop a cherry liqueur-like scent. Medium weight but gains sappiness, ripe and dense, strong acidity. Very good and exceedingly drinkable now. The second Beaune I've tried from Chanson in this vintage, and both exceeded expectations. A triumph of vintage over producer in this case, I think.
