April 1, 2024 - Another lovely bottle. Bright, fresh, very low pH, grassy and acidic with key lime and underripe nectarine. Again, nice minerals and focus..

March 10, 2024 - New label to me, small production Chardonnay from Eola-Amity Hills; I read some promising notes and took a chance on a couple of bottles. Wow; this is really pretty stunning. Pear and apple, white flowers, and the lightest honey on the nose; on the palate, this is fabulous: concentrated flavor but light on its feet; pleasing minerality and surprisingly persistent, tongue-coating citrus oil; a bit of lime salt on the finish. No new wood. For me, this hits a real sweet spot of seemingly effortless energy. Immediately ordered six more as part of a mixed case from the winery.

February 28, 2024 - This was nicely done! Feels like it was from a cooler site. Restrained a bit, with minerality and a rich texture that completely matches the description of having sat on the lees for a long time. Will track it down again.

February 18, 2024 - This was amazing on the pop and pour. My first thought was “soil to glass transfer”. You get intense minerals and a very naked view of Chardonnay. Piercingly acidic but retains balance, this is food friendly and worthy of contemplation on its own. Great wine to add to our rotation of high quality Oregon producers.

October 27, 2023 - Light, ephemeral, citric, mineral. Lean, a bit austere, bit maybe just young. Good width on the finish. Caramel apple. Cool wine.
