  January 16, 2015 - Past it's prime. This wine was drinkable, and even held some interesting character, but the fruit was mostly gone, and tannins were flat. I attribute what was left to the near perfect storage conditions, and if not for that, this wine probably would have showed poorly.

  January 1, 2014 - This bottle held up amazingly- I've seen some other notes from people who had dead wines but this one was very much still alive (which still showing its age nicely). Tasted with a bunch of top 1994 and 2004 Napa Cabernets and several people remarked about how great this wine was.

  February 25, 2012 - No doubt this wine was great previously but it has passed the optimum drinking date. The rich flavors are interesting but tired.

  September 1, 2011 - This wine also was a favorite of mine a long time ago. I held on to a few bottles and this was my last 1994 and I have 1 bottle of 1993. The wine was thin, over-oaked and out of balance. Hardly any fruit left. I had one glass and poured the rest down the drain. I should have drank this bottle sooner. A shame.
