February 5, 2011 - Tasted at 2nd Annual NYC Winter Wine Festival @ Best Buy Theater in Times Square, NYC. 95% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha + Graciano. Herbal aromas w/some oak & black fruit notes & flavors. Mid-to-full-bodied & decently structured. 87+

May 4, 2009 - Medium ruby with garnet rim. A very interesting nose - medium (+) aromas of red fruit (cherries) combined with very will integrated oak (smoke, vanilla), as well as animal notes (leather, wet wool) and a touch of herbacous motes. Palate reveals medium (+) acidity, medium body and low ripe tannins, which are a bit mouth-drying. Pronounced flavours of red fruit, touch of oak and long length dominated by red fruit and hearbaceous notes - grass, wet leaves. Not bad at all, especially considering the price of eur14. Overall this is very good, complex nose while palate could be more complex. Nice example of good oak integration. Absolutely ready to drink/ at peak, can age 1-3 years. Cheers!

April 12, 2009 - Drank at a wine tasting of wines from spanish speaking countries. Best of the night. Nice, open nose and good black cherry flarovs on the palate. Overall structure was very good for a wine of this price.
