February 16, 2024 - Outstanding wine of superior character and style. Deep brooding opaque crimson daak cherry. Fragrant black berries with a pleasant hint of smokey oak.Well balanced with the dark fruits carrying into the mouth with the introduction of pepper and spice as it moves to the back of the long lingering palate.
March 31, 2023 - Enjoyable and good, but had faded compared to my last bottle around 5.25 years ago, and therefore not as interesting to me. There is still fruit, but I recalled greater complexity, and thus I'd probably encourage drinking sooner than later.

October 30, 2020 - Drinking exceptionally well now. Perfect with autumn dinner of beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes and butternut squash.

April 11, 2019 - Came in a little hot but mellowed out over the next hour. Big wine for a nice food pairing of pasta or meat. Really liked this wine.
