August 10, 2023 - As with the bottle I had last year this is textbook Gevrey with raspberry fruit, violets and liquorice. Just lovely. Tannins come through later suggesting this has a few years more evolution. Though the browning rim suggests it is not far from mature. Excellent.

March 26, 2022 - Classic Gevrey. Perfumed nose, lovely summer fruits but with a clear line of liquorice running through it. Youthful but very approachable. Top.

February 9, 2022 - 3/12. No formal note. Pure red and black berry fruit, touch of meatiness, spice, medium bodied, pure fruit but becoming meatier with time in glass, firm but fine tannins, vibrant acids, long. Touch of smoky mineral too. Excellent.

    July 4, 2021 - 2/12, good cork.
Pale/medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose shows pure strawberry fruit, red cherry, vanilla, touch of spice. Still quite youthful. Medium bodied, pure red fruits, touch of game, vibrant acidity, soil, very good length sweet fruited finish with tickle of tannin at tail end. Excellent, drinking well.

February 13, 2021 - Some bricking around the edges but plenty of red fruit still and showing a bit of development too in a pretty good spot for early maturity

(Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Les Goulots) Medium, medium-plus colour. High-toned fruit that’s nicely intense. In the mouth there’s some fat and good ripe fruit intensity. Slightly grainy tannin. It widens to provide many dimensions and some tannin clinging to your mouth. Lingers very well. Very good.
