January 15, 2021 - Quel beau vin!

August 22, 2020 - Barolo Night @ Jake's!: Tried this but frankly was experiencing palate fatigue. I would rate this a 90/91 but may not be a fair call. Till the next one.

Bravo!

March 23, 2020 - Holy damn...this bottle was on form. Decanted from cellar temp, this showed gorgeous refined floral and red fruit Barolo aromas, but the acids were a shade pronounced. As the wine approached room temperature (and with an hour of air in decanter) the fireworks started. The texture morphed into silk. The wine gained body and width. The fruit came forward and pumped until the end...in the form of a long and delicious finish. A bit of leather shows a hint of maturity. Never was there noticeable wood. Just classic and fully formed Barolo. A delight with dinner, but also the kind of wine you could enjoy without a meal...sipping slowly. A good 5-10 years left in the tank based on this bottle.
