November 13, 2022 - Brought this to The Grey restaurant in Savannah, for our anniversary trip (married in 2007). I’ve not had much KB, and bought this from an auction. Then it rode on a plane before dinner. Waiter popped the cork, which was in excellent condition, no seepage at all. Wine was still a beautiful red color, maybe slightly cloudy, but no visible bricking and somewhat transparent. Nose of cola and cherry, with great cherry, and slight cola flavor on the palate. A great red fruit profile, well-integrated tannins and acidity, and showed great last night, with a fun dinner.

August 20, 2021 - All around, this wine isn't very expressive and somewhat weak and one noted. That being said, it's still enjoyable and although overpowered by acidity, there are pleasant notes of earth, cedar, and pepper

March 13, 2021 - Medium red, hints of brick, clear. Going strong, ripe cherry, some raspberry, ample spice, hints of oak and vanilla, and some cedar. Tannins integrated. Still delicious but no reason to hold.

November 19, 2016 - An excellent KB showing. Lots of spices with cola, ripe raspberry, and an impressive amount of earthiness. This impressed all at the table.

August 12, 2016 - Showed well tonight. Crowd pleaser profile as always. Hint of funk but otherwise typical sweet California fruit. Glad I caught it at a good point.

December 3, 2015 - Light crimson in color. 14.7% ABV. Exotic nose of cloves, cinnamon, red fruits and cherry cola. Absolute silk on the palate. Medium body with just enough acidity. Flavors of black cherry, cranberry, earth and spice. Great length on the finish. Just a super wine that has aged beautifully. Drink over the next year or so.
