February 14, 2009 - Very well made but extremely oaky, perhaps too much to ever recover. Heavily extracted, delicious fruit though decidedly not your french cousin's pinot noir.

February 25, 2008 - Popped and poured - which was a big mistake for this huge wine. Great fruit with a wall of structure, I imeditaely put half into a 375ml and will update when I re-open. Seems like everything is there, but i was not expecting this structured of a wine from a Pinot Nero (actually i was thinking more in the lines of a Pinot Noir - maybe my bad assumption)
