April 13, 2024 - The 2005 showed much better than the 2006 during a vertical tasting.
January 6, 2024 - Beautiful bottle. Tannins resolved but still stood up well to NY strips. At peak but doesn't seem like there's any hurry to consume
November 26, 2023 - Pencil lead, a hint of meat, blueberry and herb flavors. Medium bodied, smooth and delicious.
November 12, 2023 - This bottle was from an auction purchase several years ago that arrived last month.
Pnp. Cork was in great shape with staining only at the bottom. Color was opaque like a globe eggplant. Nose had hints of eucalyptus, cocoa powder, and warm blueberry pie. Palate was full-bodied and rich with dark chocolate and blackberries. It’s in a great spot. Delicious.
October 7, 2023 - VA mess
September 21, 2023 - Gives plenty of tobacco & dried herb on the nose, with dried red berry fruits beneath. Med+ body is a good mix of dried red & black cherry fruit alongside herbs, tobacco, and forest floor. Still has some structure but I'll likely drink my remaining bottle within a few years.
June 22, 2023 - Lots of stewed notes immediately after opening and first night. Kept some for day 2. Didn’t totally fall apart but I’d drink up. Good just on a decline.
February 24, 2023 - Stupendous LATAM wine, before it went for the hills price-wise. Bottle brought to the U.S from Chile before the label became popular. Tartaric crystals galore on the cork. At first, a bit reticent on the fruit front; all else had everything in balance. Halfway through the bottle, the wine took off like a 747-400. Notes of Colombian coffee and red berries. Teresa bought it but Mila drank it. Justice.
