Community Tasting Notes 6

April 7, 2016 - Very nice orchard fruit flavors, rich texture but I found myself wanting a little more acidity. A touch sweet for my palate. Good.

March 31, 2010 - intense fruit aroma, peach melon. admittedly little acidity, but didn't miss it

March 29, 2010 - Like slightly off-dry orange marmalade, glycerin and crushed gravel. I would agree with the comments pointing to a lack of acidity, but not that it makes the wine flabby. Certainly something to drink not hold, but still a beautiful expression of Chenin. It's an 06. It is what it is.

November 27, 2009 - Everything I've had from Chidaine in '06 has been acid deficient. This deficiency was especially striking in this wine. Still, it's hard not to be seduced by that lovely texture. Went pretty well with thanksgiving dinner but would have paired so much better with a stronger acid presence.

May 13, 2009 - Very nice aromas of peach and brioche. Rich, full on the palate. My only criticism is lack of acidity making the wine a bit flabby. Drink now and enjoy..
