September 7, 2020 - An old bottle that should have been drunk many years past. This partly fed the vinegar pool.

December 4, 2010 - Nice muscular southern Rhone blend. Nice acidic zing on the attack. Syrah and Mouverde seem to dominate, noticeable barnyard component. Maybe some Cinsault in the blend? Dirty purple color, medium-full body. Good wine, great QPR.

August 26, 2010 - Poured through Nuance Wine Finer and gave an extra 30 mins in glass. Purple color. Interesting nose - mix of barnyard funk with dark fruit and spice. On the palate, I found this to be earthy, spicy and tannic, with some tart cherry flavors. Continues to evolve with air. Interesting wine with a lot going on, but not particularly balanced. Then again, for the price, it's a solid wine. Aloha!

April 28, 2010 - I'll pass. On the nose it has a wet soil or damp cave smell which I'm ok with but, It also has a candied chemical smell that I don't care for. On the palate I realy didn't pick up nice fruit. It was more of a disjointed twang.

March 28, 2010 - I decanted this wine about 4 1/2 hours. The nose had a lot of damp earth and twigs. There was also some cherry and raspberry, and a tiny amount of pepper and vanilla. The palate had a good shot of sour cherry, along with earth and pepper. It finished with meat juice and raspberry. This is a style of wine I really enjoy.

March 24, 2010 - Nose is heavy on the barnyard; real heavy. There's some meatiness there too, and just a touched of dried red fruit. But it's mostly barnyardy. In the mouth this brings plenty of earth and dried herbs with a meaty acidity. There's a little of that dried cherry, which is a bit more evident on the finish alongside the nice acidity and med tannin. Mouthfeel has a pretty classy, elegant feel.
