August 5, 2023 - Stunning, especially after half an hour of air, deep and dusty and floral and bright with a looong brightly acidic strawberry finish.

December 9, 2022 - Eugene's birthday: Was waiting for my first great GR experience after the disappointing 1995 in London and this delivered. Had such a brilliant, layered nose so we did a comparison of glasses. The Zalto had the most fruit-forward nose, the Kimura had the most floral one while the Sensory was in the middle. Think most preferred the Zalto but I liked the nose on the Sensory best as it was the most elegant and perfumed with dark plums, slight smoke and charcuterie. Palate reminded me of an old-school Bordeaux with sweet fruit, tobacco and a slight herbaceous note. I love wines that are perfectly poised and balanced and this was a great example.

July 15, 2022 - I was wrong. This is definitely improving. Light elegant style with orange peel, berry tobacco and toast. Very good.

September 18, 2021 - Tasted side-by-side with the Tondonia. On initial tasting, Bosconia was light weight, predominantly characterized by medium acid and a bit of tannin, with elements of strawberry, some funk and tomato vine. As it opened up and with food (smoked tri-tip) noted blood orange, dusty earth, leather/saddle, grill smoke, green and black olive flesh, and toward the end of the night something I called Balsamic, but through the lens of Yankee Candle. This was delicious, and our unanimous WOTN. Drink now.
Wines were both clear garnet (another bottle of the Tondonia opened earlier in the week showed considerable brick/oranging). Wines were slow-oxed for about 2 hours before dinner. The Tondonia could have used more time or a decant.1 person found this helpful Comment
