April 19, 2020 - Still drinking beautifully. Gorgeous red brick color, nose of tobacco and stewed prunes, brighter red fruit on the palate, shockingly firm tannins for a 17-year-old bottle. Wish I had another.

December 28, 2018 - The red fruit is still very fresh. Complimented by tobacco and mint notes. The tannins are well integrated. Soft texture but still a good level of complexity. A pleasant surprise!

January 27, 2018 - My goodness, was this good. Drank it a couple of weeks ago, so no formal notes, but I recall some really beautiful floral notes and well integrated fruit and earth. I often have a hard time "getting" Barolo, but I sure enjoyed this, and so did my wife.

February 12, 2017 - Best of the bottle we have had thus far. No decant on this, paired with variety of pasta dishes and received well by all.

July 15, 2016 - Nice dark earthy barolo with dark fruit, nice minerality and dry long finish
