January 7, 2011 - Still has life. Red fruit. Decent finish.

June 29, 2010 - St. John on Wine - Tempranillo (Perman Wine Selections, Chicago, Illinois): This was one of the jammier smelling Tempranillos of the nigth, with a bit of cocoa aroma as well. Not too bad for the price, but nothing I would seek out.

April 3, 2009 - Deep purple. Black fruit nose, plums and blackberries. Nice cherry/blueberry taste, balanced acid and tannins, medium finish. Good drinker for the price.

February 24, 2009 - Medium purple with pink highlights in the glass. Nose of dust, alcohol, red fruit, and hint of cassis. Spicy brambly fruit with a smooth lingering finish. Very "grenache-like" in profile. Very straight-forward and easy drinking. (B-).

March 9, 2008 - Ripe berries, hints of oak (8 months in new french oak). Beautiful tears (almost like a Miro painting). Improves a little after 20-30 in the glass but still dissapointing being Zuccardi's flashship grape.
