January 1, 2021 - Un vin élégant, les tanins sont bien fondus. Ce millésime doit être bu le plus rapidement possible, il est déjà un peu tuilé.
September 11, 2017 - Drink now
February 4, 2016 - Very nice wine. A bit of fruit gets through to the edge.
April 5, 2015 - Fine pencil lead notes with dark berry notes. Enjoyable but still can hold for a few years.
December 14, 2014 - The wine was on the verge already even after 1 hour of decanting. Clearly should have been drank last year...
November 22, 2014 - Very good but not great for the year. Earthy nose (pleasant) and nice dark color, very balanced wine, medium finish. It is underrated generally in the press and in the trade, probably because its release price was highish when it came out in 2006, so they were better deals to be made then.
April 28, 2014 - Seriously underrated wine. Enjoys a very strong reputation in France, but is curiously under-appreciated out in the New World by those looking for black-currant fruit bombs. This wine has developed very nicely over the past few years and is beginning to reveal those wonderful old-leather characteristics so typical of good Bordeaux's. Plenty of structure, balance, tanins and acidity that will continue to develop over the next 6 - 10 years. Had a bottle from the legendary '82 vintage several years ago, as well as a '93 more recently - both wines proving the potential longevity of this wine (especially from strong vintages such as this). A very refreshing change from overpriced, sickly Barossa Valley Cabernet's and Shiraz's of recent times. Excellent value for money.
January 26, 2014 - Balanced and earthy nose. The taste is light, with still some red dark fruit and tannins in the background. Drink now.
January 27, 2013 - although with good aroma and mouth of berries and earth and leather, medium finish, the tanin was not very smooth and round yet, still a bit young to drink now, could be next year
November 17, 2012 - Lovely ruby red colour, excellent bouquet, medium to long finish
