There's some wood on this still, but at this point the blue fruit and the tannic structure has overtaken it. Would have benefitted from a decant, I think - my other bottle is going back into storage (or if opened, will require a decant).

December 29, 2018 - Surprisingly good for a 06 red, a vintage I rarely have good experience. Fresh strawberry aroma with mineral and stems. Balanced palate with decent red berries and sous bois. Fairly good texture for a 1er CM.

May 28, 2016 - This wine was superb after 90 mins of aeration. Very balanced with chambolle purple and black fruit. Consistent with previous note. Drinking beautifully.
