February 24, 2024 - Beautiful bouquet with butter and honey. On the palate a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. Full bodied and a great length.

December 24, 2023 - What a great wine. Compared to my earlier tasting notes, this bottle showed even more freshness and acidity, which backboned the spicy sweet tones in a superior way.

October 1, 2022 - As always, impressive. Thanks to the aging process it shows its noble and rich background.

October 23, 2020 - Very much mature, but still holds a beautiful balance. No sign of tiredness or oxidation. Nice touch of petrol combined with layers of tropical fruit on the nose. Concentrated and overwhelming without being heavy or over the top because of good acidity. This is what a mature GV is capable of in the hands of a capable vintner. Meant to be consumed with food. Perfect with mature soft (goat)cheese which brings out nice exotic spices on the palate.

April 28, 2020 - Very concentrated but perhaps toward the end of the drinking window. Definitely drinking differently from earlier openings in a mixed way. The bitter melon stood out this time in a way it did not 7-8 years ago. Hints of passion fruit, clementine orange, honeysuckle, and lime peel with remaining traces of white pepper. Not very oxidated and still with pockets of youth and hints of freshness.
