November 18, 2016 - A little too cold mute and vegetal aromas on opening - warmth saw these blow off - brick red cherry and vanilla nose soft hints of wild strawberry with some savouriness on palate

April 27, 2014 - Delicate, floral, feminine pinot noir. Great perfume, soft on palate, ready. A little savoury and hints of earthiness. The merest hint of green but in a refreshing way. Very Burgundy but maybe more Beaune than Nuits.
Great with mushroom risotto. A little dry on its own. Quite tannic actually without food.
After about two hours decanting the fragrance vanished. Not as exciting as when opened but still good. Quite a hard structure.
This could go another few years.

February 7, 2013 - A delight . Medium bodied , lovely Pinot bouquet without being at all sweet or confected . Well balanced sincere expression of the grape with a long finish - excellent.

December 25, 2012 - Clear, purple red, slightly tawny towards the rim. Clean nose, surprisingly evolved, cherry and dark fruits, but also mushroom, forest floor, hint of liquorice. Medium-bodied, tannins and oak very well integrated. But has the structure to continue to develop. Long finish.

December 1, 2012 - Light ruby core with a pale ruby rim.

Attractive, bright red fruit on the nose (cherries, cranberries) with some black fruit as well. Some leafy, forest floor like aromas. Overall quite a big nose.

Palette is lighter than the nose would suggest, nice red fruit flavours with a savoury element. Quite elegant. Enough acidity and some soft tannins. Surprisingly long finish.

    Overall a very pleasant wine.
