    April 22, 2019 - Ouvert, bouchon remis pour une heure donc peu d'aération avant le service. La robe est claire, la texture empreinte de finesse, et la finale minérale typique du domaine. Pas de dépôts significatifs. Les arômes sont à mi-chemin entre le fruit (cassis) et la terre (mousse, champignons). Le vins est intriguant, complexe, encore légèrement tannique mais il s'est clairement assagi depuis sa naissance. Un grand vin, émouvant, à point pour moi, qui n'aura pas peur de dormir encore en cave pour ceux qui préfèrent attendre un peu.

    March 25, 2018 - Popped and poured. This is a light cherry-red wine with zero sediment in the bottle. On the nose, I get earth, beef jerky, tree sap, and orange peel. In the mouth, this is lively and balanced — like a ballerina dancing across the mouth. The overall sensation is of raw cranberries. The finish is crisp yet meaty — there is a slight bite of tannin/acid. Overall, this is a solid yet sneaky wine. Add some food and enjoy. 92 points.

    January 26, 2018 - - Ruby color and aromas of sherry and medicinal. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of dusty with a medium/full body. Linear texture with a medium finish - Had notes of slight oxidation.

    excellent nose of quality fruits with earthy notes
    medium-full bodied, excellent acidity, balance & structure, well complexed, harmonious, firm tannins, seducing overall pleasure.
    requires 1-2 hours of decanting.

    November 25, 2015 - BORGOGNA AL LUPO CATTIVO: Degustato alla cieca. Subito chiuso e polveroso, già dal colore rubino aranciato trasuda terra di Gevrey. Con i minuti sventaglia un profilo etereo balsamico, con spezia dolce del legno di sottofondo e frutto maturo, poi goudron. Ricorda un grande nebbiolo del Nord Piemonte.
    Anche all' assaggio è un vino del freddo, austero, terroso e minerale.
    L' alcool è ancora sensibile, mentre acidità e tannini sono già ben amalgamati e smussati.
    Non credo che questa contrazione mascolina e riservata si possa ingentilire con gli anni, né che possa acquistare complessità nuova.
    Vino molto territoriale che richiede cibo. E' sicuramente un Clos de Bèze vecchia maniera.

    (Clair Bruno Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze) Medium, medium-plus colour. Tight again - hard to get at the aromas. In the mouth I think it lacks a little focus, but the dimension and complexity are easy to see. Less obviously forward and ‘brusque’ as the Clos St.Jacques, but the finish goes on and on…
