October 27, 2021 - Pure, silky, super perfumed. The strength, balance, and supple sweetness in the core. So smooth and powerful. 93-94

January 16, 2021 - Double blind. A somewhat sappy nose with dark pretty fruit, but it's a touch muddled, as is the palate. This wasn't a terrible interesting wine. I don't remember what I called here (it's not in my notes and I don't think I got very close), but this is not a great bottle of Mugnier. It's a bit boring and lacks the crystalline precision Mugnier typically has.

December 4, 2020 - Shitty disintegrating cork, so we had to decant. Dark fruit, not a lot of obvious tannin but solid structure. Tasted like a Fuees actually:-). Plenty of life.

September 7, 2020 - Initially a heavy nose of mushroom and forest floor, mixed with raspberry. The tannins are soft and subtle, quickly over taken by the acidity and long finish. Over the two hours it was open the mushroom and forest blew off. Notes of blackberry and black currant came forward. The finish started showing a bit of liquorice.

A friend commented, "this should be the baseline wine everyone should be able to drink." His thinking was, if more people could have this experience we'd all have an easier time understanding the peaks wine can bring us.

March 17, 2019 - Bouteille débouchée hier soir pour ce soir.
    Belle robe assez sombre.
