Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Wicker Parker Likes this wine:

September 29, 2013 - Just a beautiful wine – mature, evolved, layered, totally fresh – and all the more impressive for being the basic WV cuvee rather than the storied estate vineyard.

March 11, 2012 - Clean and dry, purple-red, somewhat metallic, not fruity. That sounds less than nice, but it really is a good wine with pasta. A bit chalky on first taste, but opens out nicely. Accidentally left unsealed (closed, but dead batteries on vacuum pump) but on second day was still very nice. Considerable sediment in bottle.
