  February 23, 2012 - Deep ruby with brown highlights. Nice nose of black fruits, hard spices, a bit of tar, and some very pleasant mustiness. Rich and still firm on the palate, with nice acidity that feels older & wiser. Flavors of leather, tobacco, and cedar complement ripe blueberries. A bit of heat in the finish, ahead of a touch of raisin and no tannins. This wine is at its peak right now; hard to imagine any further evolution. Zinfandel leads but does not dominate in the blend. Very nice.

  November 25, 2010 - Still good. Dense color with nice, fruit forward taste. Went well with Thanksgiving turkey.
