  June 26, 2022 - Served from 200ml bottle in a theatre in london. Surprised at how much I enjoyed this - a hint of sweetness but also a freshness and balance. Perfectly serviceable party fizz, although at a price where there’s a lot of decent competition.

  December 31, 2021 - Further to my Note of Dec 24, '20: Bought 4b for CAD 12+/b with 5% mixed case discount (+ 15% tax) from a local private chain in the Lower Mainland; this is #1 and, I expect, is a more recent bottling than last year's. Light gold; good effervescence, light stone fruits that follow on the palate. Left some under sparkling wine closure to try the next day: less fizz, flabby but drinkable (to be expected). Reliable, everyday sparkler challenged here only occasionally by a new cava on sale that might squeak into BC. My evaluation: For my non-points, 4-level rating scheme, see earlier posts. This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price in the BCLDB environment (high taxes, highly regulated and protected).
