  June 25, 2021 - Way over the hill. Olives, prunes, a little chocolate, but harsh on the palate. Only made it through a glass and a half before moving onto something else.

  October 13, 2013 - Mostly this went into a beef stew. A bit of carbonation on the tongue, but still drinkable. Overall, a simple wine with nice black cherry and cola notes. Nice acid but a bit too much alcohol on the back end. Nice properties for cooker.

  April 3, 2011 - Probably not a fair rating as this was the last bottle opened out of 14 and hard to remember after tasting so many wines, did not decant. Not familiar with Barberra, a balanced wine but not remarkable.

  November 20, 2010 - Pure dark and slightly sour cherry fruit. Decanted this time and was disappointed to see the aromatics disappear, but the silky medium-weight texture almost makes up for it.
