July 29, 2014 - Blind White Tasting with Top 2000 White Burgundy (Les Nomades - Chicago IL): Good fruit but clearly past its peak. Lots of yellow and green apple, but not much nuance or intrigue. Would certainly have liked more acidity. Not nearly as interesting as the 1990 vintage just tasted.

February 18, 2007 - VinoCellar.com 4th Anniversary Celebration (Wineries and John Ash Restaurant, Santa Rosa, CA): Tasted at the John Ash Restaurant as part of the VinoCellar.com 4th Annual Celebration. This champagne was slightly oxidized with mushrooms and hazelnuts on the nose. Very toasty with a slight metallic taste on the finish. Nicely aged vintage bubbly but it's probably time to drink up on these.

November 11, 2006 - Nice enough champagne but had kind of a sour acidic note that seemed a bit out of balance.

November 9, 2006 - creamy texture, nutty, drinking very nicely.

November 7, 2004 - Crisp and sharp out of the bottle. The color was a very faint gold. Hint of toasted nuts and homemade carmel apples. A very faint bit of bread on the nose... VERY faint. This is a lighter champagne that would be very nice on a hot summer day. Good balance, good acid, very pleasant: good but not great.
